  • Total Time: 22
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

✓ 4 fresh salmon fillets (skin-on, about 6 oz each)
✓ Salt, to taste
✓ Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
✓ Olive oil, 1-2 tablespoons
✓ 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
✓ 2 cloves garlic, minced
✓ Juice of 1 fresh lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
✓ 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

✓ Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.

✓ Marinate the salmon in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and the juice of one lemon for at least 15 minutes.

✓ Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with one tablespoon of olive oil. Add another tablespoon of butter to the pan.

✓ Place the salmon skin-side down into the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden-brown.

✓ Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on the other side.

✓ Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley and wedges of lemon.

✓ Serve immediately with a simple side dish like steamed vegetables or quinoa.

Notes

Ensure the salmon is patted dry before cooking to achieve a crispy skin. Serve immediately for best results.
